Announcing: The Jesus Lizard Book, Unreleased 7" & David Yow DVD/CD
10/09/2013

We are incredibly happy to announce the release of both The Jesus Lizard Book and the Opening Suite DVD from David Yow!

Published by Akashic Books, The Jesus Lizard Book is a massive, beautifully assembled coffee table book of exclusive photography, art, and other imagery with written pieces by all four members of the seminal indie rock band The Jesus Lizard. In addition to the amazing 175 pages, the book contains a signed bonus 7" featuring two previously unreleased Jesus Lizard demos.

Earlier this year David Yow released his debut solo album Tonight You Look Like A Spider on limited edition vinyl. Now in conjunction with The Jesus Lizard Book, Yow's solo album will see a release on CD w/ a brand new DVD. Included on the DVD is the epic short film "Five Directors' Interpretations of Opening Suite". The film is set to the 5-part opening track from Yow's solo album. Five different directors each contribute a different "movement" of the song. These directors are: Adam Harding, Tim Rutili, Jared Varava, Todd Adam Phillips, & Jennifer (Jen) Lynch.

Both of these releases are available in one package. This limited edition package includes the following items:

--  A hardcover copy of THE JESUS LIZARD BOOK.
--  Limited edition 7" record, pressed on gold vinyl, hand-numbered out of 475 copiessigned by all four original members of the Jesus Lizard. The 7" is *exclusive* to the book preorder and will not be made available for sale anywhere else. (Note that the 7" and sleeve will be bound inside of the book.)
