This is just a hint of what lies in store for you future Gold Thriller listeners. Since their Wild Feast debut, Child Bite has evolved exponentially into a musical stratum whose biological equivalent we imagine to be an orchid or some densely complex amoeba.
Though the more mature sound of Gold Thriller is an astonishing development for the band, its deceptively danceable beats and brief hooks only mask true experimental flair. As you would be able to tell from the sleeve of Mr. Bungle tattoos on Shawn Knight's arm, they've flirted with the darkest of experimental and progressive sounds, only to emerge with a very twisted take on (post?) indie rock. |
