Currently, listening to Double Dagger’s _333_. But this past week it’s been The Men, Mudhoney, Unwound, and Bowie.

The London marathon and RSD in one weekend, tons of goodies :) Shangri-Las, Joe Meek, Damon and Naomi, Pink Floyd, Bowie ’65, Bong. I’m a lot happier than my credit card right now.

I’ve been into a lot of stoner rock/metal lately. Golden Void, Windhand, Colour Haze, Spirit Caravan. I also rediscovered King Tuff – Was Dead.

Got the Stephen Malkmus and Friends cover Can for RSD and that is a really great listen too.

Peter Buck’s self-titled album that came out last year. It’s really good if you like grungy, dirty, old-man garage rock (like Grinderman).

It’s limited to about 2,000 copies, but he’s cool and let someone upload a stream of it onto youtube.

    Check it out for sure!

Lucky thing Anthracks, still waiting for mine to arrive, trouble with living on the other side of the atlantic, that and postage costs. Really looking forward to that weekend.

This weekend I’ll be spinning Yeasayer on blue/white splatter vinyl and RSD Bong, also on splatter vinyl.

Killer Blow. Guitar and drum duo.

Also WFMU Sinners Crossrods podcast has turned me on to a lot of old Southern gospel.
