We’d like to know…WHAT BANDS DO YOU WANT ON THE FLEXI SERIES NEXT YEAR?

Yep, we’re doing it all again next year. We are very excited to continue our Flexi-Disc series into 2014! Keeping with the same concept, the 2014 series will be limited to only 1000 copies, featuring exclusive, never before heard recordings by some of the best bands in the world. Delivered monthly to your door for less than the price of a McDonald’s Value Meal. Only thing that’s changing is the new batch of 12 amazing bands.

Since we’re still in the process of booking our 2014 series, we thought we’d open the floor to suggestions! We have some amazing bands already lined up, but still have some room to fill. And we thought it would be fun to let our loyal subscribers weigh in on the decision.

So: if there are any bands you’d just LOVE to see on the flexi series next year, we want to know. Just post your suggestions in the comments below!

PS: here are some of the bands we’ve featured in the past two years: Birthmark, Here We Go Magic, Hella, Hevletia w/ Built To Spill, Melvins, Mike Adams At His Honest Weight, Monotonix, Rob Crow, Son Lux, Sufjan Stevens & Cat Martino, The Sea And Cake, WHY?, Akron/Family, Danielson, Dead Rider, Deerhoof, Jad Fair, Lou Barlow, Make Believe, of Montreal, Racebannon, Rafter, Richard Swift, Tortoise.

Considering that the flexi series isn’t solely focused on Joyful Noise artists, my suggestion is a little out of left field, but I think it could work well. This is an Indiana band that has had a lot of recent success, and they’ve demonstrated a lot of desire for creative ways to reach both existing fans and new fans alike. I think they could be an excellent choice for this series: Umphrey’s McGee.

  • Travis

OWLS, Mount Eerie, Lifted Bells, Old Baby, LAKE, Maritime, Annabel.

  • J.C.

David Bazan, Owen Pallett, Jonah Matranga.
