JNR is proud to announce the release of the upcoming Child Bite album The Living Breathing Organ Summer. Our favorite Detroit-based "post-everything" band is back. After two full-lengths, 2007's epic EP Gold Thriller, a split with label-mates Stationary Odyssey and a 3-part 7" series (including their JNR-released split with Big Bear), Child Bite have finished their latest and greatest album. The Living Breathing Organ Summer is hands-down their most developed, interesting, solid, and insane effort to date...

An eccentric orchestra of punk adrenaline, avant-garde mortar, and lucid epicurean nightmares... The Living Breathing Organ Summer exudes a no-fluff sound that is both consistently danceable and brazenly psychotic - drawing influence from the likes of The Jesus Lizard, Devo, and Dead Kennedys with applications of soul, synth, and funk laden quirks. Do not fret or succumb to the feelings of pretense or fright you might be experiencing. This band is a family, a statement, a hobby, an ethos, an outlet, and a bear hug.

The Living Breathing Organ Summer will be released 06/15/10 (in cooperation with our friends at Forge Again Records) on CD, LP, Cassette & Digital - followed by massive tours throughout the United States.
