Today we are extremely pleased to announce that Brooklyn-based avant/noise duo Talk Normal have signed with Joyful Noise!

Since their formation in 2007, the duo of Sarah Register and Andrya Ambro have crafted a unique blend of driving noise rock. Feedback-drenched guitar tones and jarring rhythms are common in Talk Normal's surprisingly songful tunes, producing a sound informed by their predecessors (Cocteau Twins, Velvet Underground, Laurie Anderson & Creatures), but strikingly new.

Following the 2009 release of their debut album Sugarland on Rare Book Room Records, Talk Normal shared the stage with the likes of Sonic Youth, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Lydia Lunch (just to name a few). Now in 2012, Talk Normal has emerged with their epic sophomore album: Sunshine.
