Brooklyn duo Talk Normal create songs that sparkle with melody and dissonance - creating a sound informed by their predecessors (Cocteau Twins, Velvet Underground, Laurie Anderson & Creatures), but strikingly new. Sarah Register and Andrya Ambro first emerged on the NYC music scene as Talk Normal in 2007, initially releasing a variety of limited recordings (including a split 7" with Thurston Moore), the duo released their debut album "Sugarland" in 2009 on Rare Book Room Records. Their follow up "Sunshine" is released 10/23/2012 on Joyful Noise.
