This just in... Oneida joins the JNR Family!

We are pleased to announce that the one-and-only ONEIDA have officially joined the JNR family! Since their formation in Brooklyn, NY in 1997, the group has created some of the most fearlessly adventurous music known to man.

The band's new 2xLP album will be released early next year, but to celebrate our union with this experimental institution, we are immediately releasing a new 7" record, limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.

THE TWIN, has arrived.

Performed by Sound of Ceres, produced & engineered by Alex Somers (Sigur Rós, Jónsi, Julianna Barwick) from his home-studio in Reykjavik, Iceland, The Twin is perhaps the most hauntingly fantastical album JNR has ever released.

Hints of '60s exotica, '70s AM radio, and symphonic grandeur weave through layers of rippling synths and shifting rhythms, like some kind of steam-powered alien machine. It's a hypnotizing leap forward for the band.

MOUNTAIN-FUCKIN-MOVES

Maybe you've recognized, as we have, that we are simultaneously living in two worlds: one a maniacal, mainstream monoculture hell-bent on driving humankind into extinction, the other a churning underground teeming with ideas and dogged optimism and the will to thrive and survive.

Deerhoof's new album Mountain Moves refutes the former by ecstatically celebrating the latter.
