In case you’re unfamiliar, Danielson is one of the most unique groups in music history - known for their bizarre, outsider-art-folk, and outlandish theatrical spiritualism that is at once tender-hearted and cult-like. The group formed in 1994 and has released several successful (and surprisingly-critically-acclaimed) albums throughout their career - produced by folks like Steve Albini and Kramer. They even helped launch the careers of some notable artists. Ever since 1997's Tell Another Joke At The Ol’ Choppin Block, we have been endlessly enamored with the band.

And we are honored to support their next chapter via the Artist Enabler Club.

Starting on June 3rd, and continuing for 15 months, Danielson will be creating new songs and sharing them exclusively with club members. These intimate home recordings will culminate in the next Danielson album. This will be the first to include the entire "Famile" since 2001's Steve Albini produced Fetch the Compass Kids.

By signing up you get to be a part of the creation process. Digital subscriptions are $5, and Physical + Digital subscriptions are $15 (which includes a hand-made lathe-cut 7" record each month). All of these demos will be exclusive to the Artist Enabler Club and not released on other formats.

• An inside glimpse at the process of writing and recording the new Danielson album

• Monthly deliveries of new Danielson demos (in MP3 and lossless formats, delivered on the 1st Monday of each month)

• Monthly shipments of exclusive, ultra-limited hand-made lathe-cut 7" records w/ Danielson's original artwork screenprinted onto the B-Side (for Physical subscribers)

• Access to exclusive merch and wooden box set (signed by Danielson, laser etched with Daniel's hand-drawn artwork, limited to 333 hand-numbered copies)

Why are we doing this club?

This “Artist Enabler” idea was born out of a desire to support our artists as they navigate an increasingly turbulent music industry. The Artist Enabler Club is meant to serve these truly inventive artists, and to be a platform for them to offer their fans the coolest shit possible. The artist gets the lion’s share of the money (95% of digital, 50% of physical).

Subscription Schedule

Audio and video updates from Daniel will be emailed to members on the first Monday of each month, beginning on Monday June 3, and continuing for 15 months. The physical records will arrive around the same time (barring unforeseen shipping issues). All audio and video messages will be archived for members here.
