Something you might not know: this whole "Almost Live" idea started with WHY?. A long while ago, the band recorded this very first Almost Live session before we had even created our 7" series. The session was originally recorded with the intention for WHY? to release a full album called "Almost Live from Joyful Noise" (as the final part to the band's "Almost Live" album series). While we are still waiting for the full album to materialize, we decided it would be a good idea to include one track for the 7" series.
So here it is - the first ever recorded "Almost Live from Joyful Noise" session! For the 7", Yoni decided to include "Early Whitney", an early track found on their 2003 album "Oaklandazulasylum". As always the first 100 copies are handmade lathe-cuts, with the pressed 7" version featuring screen-printed artwork from Yoni Wolf, circa 2003.
