We have a tradition at Joyful Noise of throwing a big holiday party each year, inviting our artists to come to town and record holiday songs. But obviously 2020 is not your average year... Instead of canceling our yearly tradition due to the global pandemic, we decided instead to create a video “holiday special" and asked our artists to record and film holiday songs from their respective locations across the globe.
The holiday special will take place on Friday, December 11 - hosted by our own Mike Adams and featuring holiday performances from a whopping EIGHTEEN artists on the JNR roster, including: Deerhoof, Dale Crover, WHY?, Lou Barlow, No Joy, Thor Harris, Sleep Party People, Rob Crow, Danielson, Helvetia, and others.
In addition to the "televised" video broadcast portion of this event, we are releasing just 100 copies of each song on seasonal vinyl.
