The Brooklyn-based indie art-funk septet Ava Luna rank amongst our favorite bands in recent memory. Beginning in frontman Carlos Hernandez's high-school bedroom, the group got their legs when Carlos met Julian Fader and Nathan Tompkins in college. The band's neo-soul / R&B-infused music is something truly special.
