The September 2012 edition of our annual Flexi Disc Series comes from none other than Tortoise.

To say that Tortoise is a major influence of us at JNR is putting it lightly. Quite literally, the music of Tortoise has shaped our musical aesthetic and approach more than just about any band in the world. It is an absolute dream to work with them on this insanely amazing track, "HOT COFFEE".

The boys in Tortoise locked themselves in their Chicago Soma Studio to compose and record this track specifically for our stupid little series. We're honored.
