Formed from the shell of a Go-Go's cover band named Raspberry Bang, SWIRLIES began their life in Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts in the summer of 1990. This gaggle imparted a lasting legacy of the city’s chimp rock scene, which pitted dreamy, guitar-based pop against noisy, experimental tendencies. After a slew of EPs and 7” releases SWIRLIES signed with Taang! Records. In 2016 they released a new track on our subscription based program sparking thoughts of future endeavors!
